The KLO 3 story began on Christmas Day 1971 in BERLIN. Klo 1 was situated in Hauptstrasse and Klo 2 in Nestorstrasse. Both have long ceased to exist. KLO 3 now stands alone and is said to be one of the most popular Tourist Attractions in BERLIN. It is reputed to be the focus of more visitors than both Charlottenburg Castle and the Museum Island in Berlin.
KLO 3 offers a unique Experience. Part Flea Market, part Zoo and part Theme Park. Entering the KLO is like stepping on to the set of an Indiana Jones Movie. Sit Down, Buckle up and enjoy the Ride! The Tourists who make up the Majority of Visitors are treated to an attack on their senses that no other Place around can offer.
The entrance to the KLO is quite surprising, water sprinkles, gusts of hot air sends the ladies skirts high and in the glass cases are skeletons who make a weird sound. The Bird Spider, Boa Constrictor and Iguana are a big attraction. Tables and Bar Stools rotate, twirl, rise and fall and there is a hammer that comes over your head unexpectedly. Lightening flashes across the rooms and there is a false ceiling of paper mache rocks that fall in a giant avalance every 10 minutes.
A kilted figue in the Ladies Loo is booby trapped so that whenever the occupant lifts the kilt to see if anything is worn underneath, a siren goes off in the Bar. Seating is a choice of Coffins or Toilet Seats as well as normal seats. The Beer is served in new urine specimen bottles and the food is Sausages with Sauerkraut fetchingly presented in huge enamel potties. Most of the owner’s ideas came to him in the real Loo.

AN INTERESTING PLACE TO VISIT. A MUST FOR ANY VISITOR TO BERLIN. ‚FLUSHING TIMES‘ ARE 7 P.M. TO 3 A.M.WEEKDAYS AND 6 P.M. TO 5 A.M. WEEKENDS.
(Note: KLO 3 is closed on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve)
